Most Helpful Positive Review Great Muzzle Brake
If your Ruger American didn’t come with a muzzle brake, this is the one to buy. Cheaper than the factory unit and can see a difference in the pattern and in felt recoil. Is a bit louder, but you don’t notice it when on a deer.

Its not the right size .589 it’s supposed to be.6875 I have one on my other 450 bushmasters

recoil reducer

I bought a Mossberg patriot 450 bushmaster before deer season of 2023. I let my dad use it to see if he wanted one. He said he loved the gun and the knock down power, but the recoil was just to much for him. I told him before he bought a smaller caliber let me get a muzzle brake to help him out before he decides. I put the brake on and my 68 year old father was shooting it freehand with no problem. He is going to buy his own gun in the same caliber now.

It was a great success

Solid Product

Bought this brake to add to my tac’d out Marlin 1895 SBL. Fit great and plenty of clearance for a .45-70 (.458) even though this is designed for .450 Bushmaster (.452). Comes with a crush washer and installation instructions.

EXCELLENT MUZZLE BRAKE
WELL MADE AND LOOKS GREAT
GOOD RECOIL REDUCTION
SOUND IS NOT MUCH LOUDER THAN WITHOUT BRAKE

I LOOKED AT ALL AVAILABLE BRAKES AND THIS IS DEFINITELY THE BEST CHOICE FOR 450 BUSHMASTER

Great Looks and Performance

I bought and installed this brake before even shooting my 16’ 450 bushmaster AR carbine... I read the recoil on the 450 was kinda of harsh and I had good experiences with brakes on my .308 AR’s. The recoil wasn’t bad at all and the rifle shot flawlessly after installation. It was easy to install and it looks great also. Thanks OP!

Haven’t shot yet

This item came very quickly in the mail and looks great on my Mossberg 450 bushmaster. First time putting a muzzle brake on so I used the crush washer but the orientation was the same with or without. That’s very minor so I really will not worry about it. Can’t wait to go shoot it
