These are actually quite indispensable I have found. They stay lit and are visible practically all night. Even if you don’t charge them with UV light or flashlight, exposure to the sun and hiking into the night they stay lit quite awesomely. If you have a UV LIGHT, doesn’t matter the quality it can hyper-charge these things to stay very bright. Half dome at night? No problem. You can see your friends or group, if you have specific colors. If you need to use the restroom at night, you can see all the exits of your tent without using a flash light to wake your partner. Use for your backpack/hike-pack anywhere you can.
