Website says the outer ring glows from LED/sunlight, etc. It does not. Was a little harder to screw in that most glock front sights. Overall quality seems pretty good....but it just wasnt any better than any other standard glock night sight. Had the green ring actually glowed....I'd probably have kept them.....but it doesnt.

This is a knock off design of the Dead Ringer Snake Eyes and at least two other sights manufactures, Ameriglo and Sig Sauer. However, this domestically manufactured masterpiece is more than likely machined out of some kind of scrap metal, If you enjoy the look of rust on a new gun, by all means, this tetanus hazard is more than likely what your going to want. These sights are guaranteed to rust out the inside of your slide in under 2 weeks, however I can’t tell if it’s just the housing that ruined my gun, or if it had something to do with the replace the screw they give you that is made of a some sort of garbage metal, most likely pewter. If they tried to make that screws any cheaper, they would have to use plastic. Whoever engineered these knockoffs probably should have spent a few extra hours in their engineering classes and a little less in the bars. class instead of at the bars, because eryone else in the world knows that a rear sight designed to fit the dovetail of a GLOCK 42 & 43 can not be interchanged with the full frame models, only the front sights can’t be used universally. If your looking for the Pinto or Ford Festiva of night sights, then don’t waste any more time looking, you have just found them!

Great accessory for day and low light shooting. Target acquisition is a lot easier especially for older folks as their eyes ages. It is worth the price and I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys target shooting.

This front sight is not visible at night in any form or fashion. I may have received a defective item, but even exposed to light, it still does not glow in the dark and the "tritium" is also not visible at night.
