I bought this sight for my p239. I wanted a brighter daylight sight without replacing the rear sight also. For me, it shows up better in daylight and is definitely brighter in low light than most night sights. I only had to stone a few thousands off the bottom and installed fine. It is less expensive than most of the other bright colored front sights but is pretty much equal so far.
