Taurus G2 C sites

by Chuck, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on June 5, 2025
You might ask yourself, why invest so much money into your Taurus? I own Beretta’s, Sig Sauer, CMMG, Daniel defense. Compare to the above, I believe this little gun holds its own well. Upgrading the sites made this gun much more usable. Really glad I did this. All the screws came with the sites and had blue Loctite on them. You will need a number two Allen wrench and small straight screwdriver to install. No filing fit perfectly.

not perfect for an imperfect design

by Big O, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on August 24, 2024
The Dan Wesson Razorback has a unique Novak sight cut. The rear sight fit perfectly with proper force to install and without any filing of the sight needed. The front required quite a bit of filing and time to fit. Front sight is pinned and easy to set. Rear sight is easy to push. So, final adjustments will not be a problem. Only issue was shipping time. No fault of OP, but wished they were a little more up front about long lead times. On the same hand, kudos to OP. Only vendor i found to offer a good night sight to fit my pistol.

Not for Shadow 2 Compact OR

by Kumander, Verified Owner from ID, United States Written on March 7, 2024
Because I read in several places that sights for a CZ 75B fit a Shadow 2 Compact, I bought these for my Shadow 2 Compact, Optics Ready. While they do fit and install nicely with little trouble, the rear sight is too short relative to the front. The point of aim is about a foot high at 20 yards. This is disappointing, because the sights are actually terrific. I do wish the front dot were larger still. No one but XS makes a large enough front dot for my liking. That makes it less than excellent in daylight hours. In the dark, these sights are excellent - as bright as I have ever seen and brighter than the Truglos they replaced.

a great option for sights

These are easy sights to use. They look great. Not hard to install with a file, drift jig and punch.

Night Fision - Green Ring Front - Perfect Dot Tritium w/ U Notch Rear for HK - SUPER BRIGHT

by K2, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on February 14, 2022
These sights are excellent. I usually buy Ameriglo, but they don't appear to make them for HK. This product is better. They are the BRIGHTEST of all my sights at night! I have tried most of the available brands. I actually shoot targets in the dark, so I am sure. Quality, fit and finish are also great.

I prefer the green front ring over the orange. For quick acquisition, I like the U rear. There is very little space on the sides of the front post on these, which is probably not the best for daytime long range shooting. I am using them on a subcompact for concealed carry, so this set up is perfect for that. The rear vials are circled in black (an option). The black reduces the daytime visibility of the rears. The Hackathorn (no rear vials) type sights are not good for me, because there is only a front sight in the dark. No elevation control. I will buy these again as my first choice.
Pros:
  • Excellent quality
  • bright
  • Fair price
  • preferred options
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • concealed carry

installed these little bad boys on my edc vp9, and let me just say they're tremendously superior over stock in my opinion. the front dot is very easy to acquire in the daylight and these sights are very visible at night. couldn't be any happier with my purchase. would recommend 10/10.
