D-2mv night vision - Night Optics Adventurer Gen 1+ Night Vision Goggles

Got these NVG's for hunting/operating at night and found they are quite useful. Has a good, clear image with reasonably good light pick up for Gen 1. Dual optic allows for good depth perception making movement, or even operation of a vehicle (four wheeler) with no lights at night possible. Each optic can be individually focused allowing use with firearms. Focus one on your sights, the other on your target, bang. The IR illuminator can be adjusted from flood to spot beam, but is visible which could give away your position. A piece of electrical tape with a slot cut out may reduce signature. Automatic shut off for bright light exposure will protect against intensifier damage. Headgear and mount could be better, but is quite functional and comfortable. Push button on/off, Illuminator on/off. Uses one CR123A battery. Would recommend for those, like me, who want full night capability but can't afford to hang $1000+ on yer head.
Pros: Depth Perception, Good image clarity, Useful in many applications.
Cons: Headgear could be better, Visible IR illuminator
