Works perfectly...
On dark nights, it increases visibility up to a couple hundred yards using my Pulsar x550 monocular. I have one mounted on the monocular and one on my Night Optics M845 rifle scope. They both work great for me.
Pros: Lightweight, powerful, focusable...
Cons: Need separate adapter for mounting.

Not the product I'd hoped for!
This would be a great product IF it had more illumination. The IR on binocs from the same manufacturer is WAY better than this unit and they are fairly cheap binocs. The beam can be adjusted tightly but even at that size, it is gives less light than the binocs and it would take 7 or 8 such spots t...

Review of Night Optics IR-K2
This Night Optics IR-K2 has helped increased visible range as well as providing that extra light to make precise shots. This IR comes in real handy on those no moon light or overcast nights when it can get hard to distinguish targets. I just flip the IR on and what a difference it makes. I have noticed that the animals can still sense the light from the IR but not so much that they run off.
