Most Helpful Negative Review Savage bases don't fit Savage rifle
Very excited to mount this on my new Savage 111 in 338 Lapua. But this product comes with #6-48 threaded screws, whereas the Savage rifle I bought has factory drilled screw holes that are #8-40 pattern. And the holes in the Nightforce base are drilled so small only a #6 screw will fit through them...

solid base

Exquisitely machined scope base, fits my Savage 308 SA model 16 weather warrior perfect. Note you will have to use the small screws on the front for this model. This thing is solid. My only complaint is there are no directions indicating recommended torque for the screws; I figure I will try to scare that up online.

Nightforce scope mount for savage 110ba

This rail fits PERFECTLY. No need to bed. Has improved my grouping dramatically over the stock rail that came with the gun. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to be more accurate at long distances. Made of steel rather than aluminum too which is better in my opinion

Not impressed.

No recoil lug. Next time will go with another brand with recoil lug. My buddy has an older one with a recoil lug which led me to believe this one did, but I assumed wrong. I should have returned it, but was going to the range next day and decided not to dissapoint my girlfriend.

solid as a rock

More expensive buy=t well worth it. This is the second one I bought. None better for your Savage. Perfect fit on the action and proper relief for ejection without any brass hanging up. Perfect. Would go to war with it without hesitation

Excellent Scope Base

Fits perfectly and works with both right and left-handed Savage actions. Some reviewed unfairly because they bought the wrong model--there are two different models with different sized mounting screws. Take the time to make sure you know what screws you need and order appropriately--you'll be very satisfied.

built like a tank

Built well and super easy to install. Holds by Leopold well.
Pros: stout and love recoil grooves for nf rings
Cons: Kinda tall which raises scope off of gun. Easy fix with lower rings.

Good and solid

You can feel just by holding it that it is well built and has a solid rugged weight to it.

I would like a some instructions to come with it as too the recommended torque lb per inch.
