This is an awesome scope! I had a 15 power scope with a 42mm objective lens, which was great and worked in most conditions. However, the light gathering ability of the 56mm objective lens is amazing in the ½ hour before sunrise and after sunset, when there is still legal shooting light and the bucks are out. Also the difference from the 15 power to the 22 power magnification is significant. I recommend this scope to anyone that hunts out west where you will most likely have a longer shot on your prized animal.

This long range hunting NXS rifle scope has a lower 5.5X magnification range that can still get you your close range hunting done precisely and effectively. It is the real gem from the NXS family of rifle scopes

I recently bought a new Precision Rifle for shooting and needed a new scope. I researched every brand of scope that is out there. I own several other brands of scopes currently. I decided on this model for my needs due to the quality of their manufacturing process. I also ordered a Night Force ATACR 7-35 X 56. So this was a (2) scope purchase. One scope for hunting and one scope for shooting steel at long ranges. I consider Night Force as the Cadillac of scope quality. Highly recommend that you buy one. The glass clarity is exceptional with both scopes.

I purchased my second scope for my bergara b14 hmr and i love i ordered a custom turret for it from gunwerks and i shoot up to 1200 glass is second to none clarity i higly recomend this scope my first scope came whit a gunwerks lr1000 set up whit a custom turret also inqhas impresed whit that scope its compact light weight

I wanted to get into long range shooting. I purchased a Remington 700P in .308 and mounted a NF 5.5-22 NXS on a set of Ken Farrell rings and base. I put 15,000 rounds through the rifle and shot in many, many 600 and 1000 yard compititions. I won many, many 600 and 1000 yard competitions in 2 different countries. I’m all the traveling and banging around the rig saw. I NEVER had any issues with the scope. 17 years of use at this point. The rifle has been rebarreled a couple of times, but the NF scope is in perfect condition. I wouldn’t buy or use any other scope. I tried many others and NOTHING compares to the Nightforce optics, adjustments, strength or repeatablity. The initial price is a bit steep, but it’s much cheaper than buying a lesser scope, realizing it’s junk and having to buy a Nightforce in the end. Do it right, do it once, get the Nightforce and don’t have any regrets. Happy shooting

This is probably the best scope that I have. I do have another high end scope but I believe this Nightforce is the best of the three I own. Its very clear, the adjustments are crisp and define. The zero stop on this scope is one of the features I like. Going back to zero is a no brainer. Shooting at long distances (1000) yd is more easier with this scope. All adjustments are easy to do when shooting. I did put on a locking power ring to make it easier to adjust the power on the scope while shooting. This made me concertract more on shooting than looking down at the scope. The locking eye piece I am just keeping to like it. Once you are focused on your target you then lock it down, it won’t move. Nightforce had made a great scope and I am to shoot it.

A little heavy for packing but literally bullet proof and worth every penny. At least you know if you hike 6 miles and fall down it'll stilll be on! Nothing could be worse than hiking that far, finding the big one and having a scope fail the drop test. Don't have to worry about that here!
