not worth it
The Zeiss website has a free ballistic software download that game me the exact same data as this software. i guess i just bought something i didnt really need.
Pros: has a lot of ballistic info for lots of rounds

Haven't used it yet, just installed it to my laptop. Have plugged in some figures and seems easy to use. Has a great database for factory ammo. Would recommend it so far.

Overall works well. Wish it had spin drift calculated into the firing solution. So far is very accurate out to 1100 yards.

Program problems
The idea of haveing a program that works with the retical in your scope was a great idea. However, the information provided by this program can be had from most any source. It does not have a user guide to aid in maximizing the capabilities of the program. You just have to fumble through. It does not address some of the reticals they provide, NP2-DD etc. I am very disappointed with the program and the lack of information provided by Night Force to operate the program.

Night Force Ballistic Software, Software Versions NightForce Ballistic Software - PC Version CD-ROM
This product meets expectation. I have been using it heavily since receiving it over a month ago. I do wish it had just a little more flexibility as far as input data goes but its a decent bargain for the price as it improves accuracy by giving specific round data.

Ballistic software
Install on a pc and it just works fine. No glitches. Extensive bullet library. No steep learning curve, accurate results. High leval of confidence in results.

Palm Version
the palm version does not have the excel spread sheet options of the PC version or function as discribed in the accompanying info sheet. Also you can not access the program except on the Palm PDA. Probably better to get the PC version and buy a Windows compatible device

Excellent Ballistics Program
It is basically the Exbal program with the Nightforce name and a subprogram tailored with some Nightforce reticles added. What is not to like about Exbal? It is one of the most useful ballistics programs available.

Nightforce software is easy to use
Works great...you just need to have a way to measure baro pressure and velocity.
