I feel this is a great scope. Big n heavy so it is good for my bench gun. Would be too big and heavy for hunting. Love the simple reticle. Illuminate could be brighter but good for almost all conditions.
Pros:
- Clear, great magnification

I shoot competition long range. I use Nightforce exclusively. They are repeatable, rugged and reliable. They are a great value for the money. I have 5 Nightforce scopes including this one. They have been through some pretty nasty weather and they just keep on performing. If you can afford one buy it. It will be the last scope you buy.

Great product. Have only had two sessions with it at range. Mounted it on a CZ 550 Varmit in 308. Clarity is very good. Although large, not an issue as is bench gun. Love the simplicity of the PR2 reticle.
Pros:
- Clarity / brightness is outstanding

This is my second NF Benchrest scope from OpticsPlanet. The first was a NF 14-42 x 56 Benchrest, and this time it's a NF 8-32 x 56 Benchrest. As always, NF scopes are precise and have clarity in the glass to make it worth its price. Adjustment click are solid and precise. High quality & well-made. Using his 8-32 scope for a Kidd Supergrade 10/22 for 50>100 yards. Maybe a bit overkill....

This is my third NightForce scope. I have two 12-42x56 Precision Benchrest scopes....one on a customized blueprinted Rem. 722 action in 30 BR and another on a Lawton 7500 action in 6mm Dasher. My latest acquisition, the NightForce 8-32x56 is mounted on a Kimber 84M 22/250 rifle that will be used for varmint hunting. I love the optics of these scopes and with 74 year old eyes the illuminated reticle really helps me in low light situations.
I highly recommend these scopes.

Another of my favorite scope is the Nightforce bench rest series. I especially like the NP-R2 reticle which gives just enough detail without making the image area too busy. The large 56mm objective and superb coatings retains excellent clarity out to 800 yards with no difficulty. Another winner from NF!
Pros: Very well built, extremely crisp image quality
Cons: none
Would recommend: Yes

This is undoubtedly the best rifle scope I have owned in 50 years of shooting. Optics are extremely sharp with good color rendition. Elevation and windage adjustments work as they should - can shoot the "square" with this setup. Adjustment knob covers/caps are a nice touch, as are the metal lense caps that screw into either end of the tube. Reticle is fine enough for real precision shooting and is lit for dim light situations. Great scope!
Pros: Great optics, tough tube, 1/8 MOA adjustments, lighted reticle
Cons: None
Would recommend: Yes
