Typical Nightforce quality
Perfect fit, amazing quality. This dropped onto my Remington 700 flawlessly. The bolts come pre loc-tighted and ready to go. Only complaint is that it doesnt have any kind of centering lug. the bolts seem to be self centering but having a lug would be a nice addition.
Perfect fit for Sauer 100
Installed this base on a Sauer 100. The fit is perfect, there's no overhang. Note: check your receiver to see if you need 6-24 (smaller) screws or 8-40 (larger). Sauer is 6-24.

This is a solid base and very convenient with the radius cut out. I was able to slide my scope back just enough with out hitting.

Nightforce STND Rem 700 Duty Base
required bedding the rail to the action to alleviate putting stress on the rail that made the top surface arc. Not a huge deal but time consuming.

Nightforce Rem. 700 1913 base
I only have 2 bolt actions both Remington 700 and both models use Nightforce rings and bases because they are very well machined and fit perfectly.
While there are other rings and base combinations on the market I choose the Nightforce because I also run Nightforce scopes so everything is the same manufacture for the best fit, finish and the system matches. Excellent product at the best price!!

Not sure why it was suggested that I would need it.
I didn't know what hardware I would need for this 56mm tube so I asked you folks for advice and this is what I was told I would need, however with that base, the other base and rings do not go together so I just used the base with the rings. Why did you suggest both. I could only use one or the other. Now I have a nice base with no intended use. I guess I should have known better. I do not intend to suggest this is a review, but for your info only. I do appreciate your help which got my Night Force scope mounted and it works just fine. This is just for your info. Thanks Zeke48

Great product for a great price
Whenever you buy something from Nightforce, you know you are getting a high quality product. Nothing different with this product and the cost is very reasonable. This's rail fit perfectly for me and I'm very pleased with it.
