Most Helpful Positive Review Ring height suggestion
High quality rings for a Nightforce SHV 4-14x50mm scope on a Ruger Precision Rifle. I couldn't find a recommended ring height for this scope and rifle combination. I first tried the 1.150 inch tall rings and then scope was just touching the top rail of the foreend due to the 20 moa built into the receiver rail. The 1.265 inch tall rings do the trick with enough clearance for the scope and the Nightforce sunshade to clear the front rail by about 0.1 inches. The best product you can find for mounting optics. Optics Planet is great to work with with and makes sure you get what you need. The Night Force rings are pricey but Optics Planet do have good sales. Highly recommend using them for your needs.
