Love these sights
These sights work great, really catch your eye. they do take some fitting but wee worth the effort.

old eyes love a gold bead
I put this on my 10mm 1911. It's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it. Unlike brass, gold does not tarnish and seems to grab the light better. I put gold bead sights on two of my Pythons and my groups tightened up significantly, so I expect this to be no exception on my 10mm.

1911 Gold bead front sight ( 0.150)
Purchased the above 1911 Gold bead front sight ( 0.150 ) to replace previously purchased & installed 1911 Gold bead front sight ( 0.180 ). Previous ( 0.180 ) was too tall resulting in lower point of impact from point of aim. With the (0.150) point of impact is the same with point of aim. This was installed in a Nighthawk TRS commander.

Works but not 100% satisfied
I loved the idea of using a gold bead front sight on my Colt Comp 70series but the sight feels really cheap it’s not even metal, I left marks on it trying to install it and now it looks damaged but overall bead works but would be 100% better if it was made of metal.
