Great addition to my 1911
I have a suppressor so now I have a barrel to fit it! this barrel dropped into my Colt model 1911 with very little adjusting. I haven't fired it yet so have no report on its accuracy or how quiet it will be.

Missing parts
Order the nighthawk customs threaded barrel with bushing, link and pin but did not receive the bushing. Needed this for an expedited job and now they have to wait even longer even after paying for fast shipping.
Nighthawk Drop in barrel
It's been a journey but thanks to the great team at Optics Planet my barrel arrived and is working perfectly. Took some minor fitting but works great! The folks at Optics Planet are great when it comes to customer service.

Fits Like a Glove
True drop-in fit in my Springfield Armory TRP. Zero modifications needed! Barrel to slide locking lugs, barrel link and barrel bushing were perfect. I checked the barrel lug to frame contact and the slide stop pin was not binding. The TRP barrels are factory fit and matched so I was a little surprised that it fit as well as the factory barrel. No feed issues or out of battery issues when fired.

What can I say.. It's a Nighthawk Barrel !
This barrel was really a drop in fit on my older Remington R1S.
The only thing that needed a little fitting was the barrel bushing. The little nub needed filing..
Thats it.. The gun is a lot tighter now. Gotta go shoot it and break it in..

Nighthawk Barrel
Really nice barrel, took a little bit of fitting to go in my Kimber. Haven't shot it yet but I'm expecting great results!

Great Barrell
This barrel did require a little hand fitting but nothing bad at all. It is a great barrel and seems to be made very well.

Direct drop-in
Direct drop-in fit into both my Springfield 1911A1 and my STI Spartan. No smithing needed. The Nighthawk barrel bushing did not fit into the STI, but the factory one functioned fine with the new barrel. Ran a few mags through each gun with no issues whatsoever.

This dropped right into my Ruger SR 1911 with no issues and no modification. Works great and is very accurate, great company to work with as well.
