These are great trigger modules (for lack of a better term) for any 1911 build! I've done several thus far and...while not inexpensive up front...are a huge time saver and give superior results. Rather than spend time filing and fitting the sear and hammer hooks just insert this and get an instant 3.5-4.0 lb trigger with a clean break. You still have to fit the grip and thumb safeties but that would be necessary anyway. Nighthawk's trigger system is as foolproof a product as there can be for a trigger job. Comparing this to hiring a gunsmith to do a traditional trigger job would likely be a wash cost-wise. Even if you do your own trigger jobs this is a huge time saver with equal or better results. I have about ten of these kits just waiting for planned future 1911 builds as they're often out of stock at many parts sellers.
