This Kensight sight combination is fantastic...very visible...adjustable and looks great. It works fine on a 1911 pistol...it takes a bit of fitting but most everything on a 1911 does. You won't be unhappy with this sight combo.

This Ed Brown ejector is of outstanding quality. It took just a bit of fitting but not much. YMMV with that as the 1911 is not really a drop-in and go pistol. The price from Optics Planet was fair and reasonable and the service was fast.

Super nice barrel...tool almost no fitting in a 1911 pistol I built. The price was more than reasonable (a closeout from Optics Planet)...far less than from Fusion themselves. Fusion products have proven to be excellent quality for my builds and Optics Planet is a first rate vendor.

These are great trigger modules (for lack of a better term) for any 1911 build! I've done several thus far and...while not inexpensive up front...are a huge time saver and give superior results. Rather than spend time filing and fitting the sear and hammer hooks just insert this and get an instant 3.5-4.0 lb trigger with a clean break. You still have to fit the grip and thumb safeties but that would be necessary anyway. Nighthawk's trigger system is as foolproof a product as there can be for a trigger job. Comparing this to hiring a gunsmith to do a traditional trigger job would likely be a wash cost-wise. Even if you do your own trigger jobs this is a huge time saver with equal or better results. I have about ten of these kits just waiting for planned future 1911 builds as they're often out of stock at many parts sellers.

I've installed several of these in my 1911 builds and they are a big timesaver and give great results. These have the potential of hurting a professional gunsmith's business of charging for trigger jobs since the installation is easy with equal results. Not inexpensive but compared to what a gunsmith would charge it's a bargain.
