Since the mid 70's, I have been buying & using rifle scopes. Usually Leupold or Nikon. So I really didn't expect this inexpensive scope (that I had never heard of) to be much. But needed a 4X scope with a small objective lens to clear the iron sights on my Mossberg 464 30-30 that resides on my side by side. And I didn't want to pay much because of the vibration & weather it would be exposed to. What a surprise. Clear optics. Reticle adjusted to center easily (without hangups). Focus ring was easy to turn & set. The 1.25-5X power adjustment ring is easy to adjust on the fly. The windage & elevation knobs are easy to turn & have a locking ring which I like. It has a feature I wasn't aware of, after setting the scope to zero, you can turn a locking ring at the base of each knob to loosen the dial, then rotate the dial to zero, then lock the ring so you always have a zero mark to return to for that particular cartridge/bullet/powder combination. I have so far only fired 150+ rounds of 30-30 with the scope mounted but it has maintained it's zero setting throughout. I have it mounted with Warn quick detach rings & mount so I can go to my iron sights quickly and it makes for a great combination. May not be a $200-$300 Leupold, but a great little scope.
