Great scope, great price - Nikko Stirling NSTT41644MD1 Targetmaster 4-16x44mm Scope, Side Saddle Parallax Adjustment, Half Mil-Dot Reticle

I have used a few Nikko Stirling scopes over the years on a variety rifles of different calibers. The scope purchased this time is now mounted on a .224 Valkyrie. The Valkyrie round is touted as a 1,000 yard-plus round; however, I am under no illusions that I will be shooting at that distance but 600 yard shots are a distinct possibility for the varmint hunting for which I intend to use the current configuration. Only time will tell if this scope is well suited for the varmint hunting and target shooting I intend to do with the rifle - but I am very confident it will as Nikko Stirling has yet to let me down. Regarding OpticsPlanet, I have made several purchases from them over the years and without exception the item is as described as well as shipping turnaround is fast. In addition to the great service, the prices are always reasonable if not the best deal I can find. The only downside, at least for me, is the size of the crosshairs, which a little thin - but this is not anywhere close to a deal-breaker.
