Good compromise between size and performance for hunting - Nikon Monarch 3 10x42mm Binoculars - Hunting Binoculars

I bought these for my son. He is a bit slow and he hunts with a pistol. He shot his buck with his 44Mag at 70 yards. Too bad he didn't think about using his new Binoculars to figure out where it ran off to. He likes his Nikons. He claims they are comfortable, easy to carry and performance - a good compromise of resolution, magnification, light gathering and size. I'm not sure exactly what he uses them for however.
