good value ,but don't ship by UPS as they charge brokage fees . we have free trade and don't need broker . it cost me 54.27 in extra fees, in future send by us postal service. REGARDS doug wood.

Nice optics
Super nice binoculars for the money. I did feel like I was misled on the warranty. I ordered the demo model and the listing indicated that it came with a "factory warranty". This is technically correct but it's only a 90 day warranty not the Lifetime Warranty that is on standard Nikon products. In my opinion Optics Planet should have been more specific about the terms of the warranty. I'm not going to downgrade my rating on the product due to this issue. They are 5-star worthy. I will be more cautious when ordering from Optics Planet in the future.

Oldtime birders love 10x50
Higher magnification and older eyes are a great combination. And the large field of view makes picking up the image very easy. Plus they're Nikon optics. Can't go wrong.

New Nikon Action 10x50
Have stepped up from my ancient Bushnell 7x35's to this new Nikon 10x50; the difference is apparent, primarily in the clarity of image and field of view. I appreciate the lens covers although the exit pupil covers tend to fall off. Overall these are excellent for the price!

Great Value
This is a refurbished product and I can't image a new one would be any better. Image colors all appear to true. Clarity and sharpness are very good. Even in the light polluted environment of Ft. Lauderdale I was able to see five of Jupiters moons. Mechanism to focus operates smoothly. Binoculars were properly set-up right out of the box and no further adjustments were necessary. Lens caps are the only ding. A tether system would be nice.

Big improvement over my binoculars purchased over 25 years ago. Like the warranty.
Pros: Pretty decent unit.
