I quote from the product description, "tracking a moving subject while on a moving platform yourself. Nikon 12 x 32 are great for observing from airplanes".
Well I purchased these and that weekend flew from CT to DC. The flight was west of New York City so that I was able to look down comfortably at the Tappan Zee Bridge. The flight stayed on a course West of Philly and Probably 10 miles to the West, however I could make out features on the Jersey shore. I could plainly see Gardner's Basin in AC and distinguish the different hotels. Very steady it is as if the picture is captured and on the approach to land objects were closer and still the view remained steady. So as advertised they do the trick.
Pros: they perform as advertised
Cons: too many buttons to push and ackward battery pack
Would recommend: Yes
