Nikon 16x50 Action Binocular
This 16x50 binocular is easy to use, you cna even hold it steady in spite of ite high magnification. It has a very impressive wide field, with no distortion, and edge of field quality is excellent. It is a bargain at a very low price.

I also have the Nikon Trailblazer 10x40 that I hunt with around my neck. This more powerfull pair at 16x50 is too big and heavy for that but that's not what I bought them for... I bought these to glass from my deck out at 600+ yards and they're perfect! I prefer to rest my elbows on the railing because at times I tend to shake and the view gets too blurry at 16 times magnification. Really clear and fantastic price!

16X50 action
For the price and the quality optics they have these are a great pair. I did some research before buying these and for a moderately priced set they had more than many priced higher. More than I would normally pay, so far I am quite pleased with the quality of the product. The field of view with the magnification is great. Close objects are difficult to focus, but who uses binoculars for that.
These are sturdy binoculars. As a result the size and weight may be an issue on a long hike, I will find out. The strap does not look all that comfortable for longtime carrying - like a thin (around the neck) digital camera strap. I may look to a wider more comfortable strap like a 35mm SLR camera has.

Nikon 16x50 Action Binoculars 7223
This low cost binocular provides very clear images especially when secured on a tripod. The limited eye relief is also offset when on a tripod. The wide field of view is especially useful for long distance terrain viewing.
