Great, but it’s not tacti-cool guys
First off, this isn’t an item to keep your lens reflection from giving away your position, like some others have said. They obviously have no idea, probably too many video games.
What this is for, is to keep the suns glare from impeding your vision thru the scope. If you’ve ever shot looking towards the sunlight, or even under very bright conditions, the sun flares in the scope can be a pain. This simply creates a level of shade over the objective lens. You can see thru the honeycomb design with no obstruction in your field of view.

Nikon 40mm Anti-Reflective Lens
Simply put this device helps reduce seen reflections of your front scope lens. It is well made and screws onto the front of your Nikon scope. It is light and has a decent size honey cone pattern. Not much else can be said, except it works well.
