A bit disappointing - Nikon 8x36 Monarch ATB Binoculars 7513

When I first looked through my new Nikon binocs, I was thrilled. The image in the center of the view is very bright and sharp. However, with a bit of use, limitations appear: The image is quite fuzzy starting at about 3/3 of the way to the outer circumference. Also, the focus is so precise that it requires constant adjustment. Looking at something 75 yards away will require refocusing if it moves to 80 yards.
Pros: Very sharp in center
Cons: Fuzzy at outside of view; difficult to maintian focus
