very pleased with these so far
I have not really put these binoculars through their paces yet, but so far I am very impressed. I had trouble deciding between the 8x and 10x, but ultimately went for the lower power and more compact size. The image clarity and brightness is better than I hoped for, and I have no problem keeping them steady, unlike with higher magnification.
All the moving parts turn smoothly, not too stiff or too loose, and I can't see any flaws in the design or construction. No real hard use yet, but I don't expect any problems.
Other reviews have commented on the eyecups breaking. They do seem a lit...

great binoculars
bought these last fall they are the best binouclars I have had. My only problem is that the lens covers do not stay on very well.

Very clear and lightweight.
I've owned these binoculars for more one year now, and I'm still constantly impressed with how bright and sharp they are.
Overall, I think these are outstanding binoculars for the price. I highly recommend them.
Pros: Easy to focus good in low light and work great with glasses.
Cons: Some complaints were on the lens protectors, if you attach them to the strap they work better.

A Bit Disappointing
When I first looked through my new Nikon binocs, I was thrilled. The image in the center of the view is very bright and sharp. However, with a bit of use, limitations appear: The image is quite fuzzy starting at about 3/3 of the way to the outer circumference. Also, the focus is so precise that it requires constant adjustment. Looking at something 75 yards away will require refocusing if it moves to 80 yards.
