Like all things Nikon, this works perfectly and costs more than it should. I got it to use my binoculars as a spotting scope and it does that great. Pros: Works as advertised for intended purpose. Cons: Expensive
Most Helpful Negative Review Cheap, junk
Spend a couple of bucks more and get something better. For $20 you get an L-bracket with a cheap plastic wing nut that will not tighten enough to keep the binos secure. Nikon Binocular Tripod Attachment - Astronomical

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on January 29, 2011
For beginning use in astronomy to attach Nikon 10x50 to Manfrotto pan head. Okay for casual use, but screw to attach to pan head requires effort to get it tight enough to keep from slipping when viewing if you torque the binoculars. Nice that it fits into center focus on Nikons. For extended use, get a more substantial attachment.
Pros: Well made, high quality
Cons: Foot attachment diffiuclt to get best grip.

The price does not compensate the utility

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on December 3, 2009
The item is very expensive for its function. You pay the brand.

But if you want to anchor the binoculars without fear of damaging it, nothing better than the original part.
