Nikon black fx1000 4-16x50 very disappointing!! - Nikon BLACK FX1000 4-16x50SF Rifle Scope

I bought this scope for my father to get him into long range shooting. With that being said, we mounted the scope on a 7mm and took it to the range to zero it. I have zeroed many scopes over my life and know how to do it. The Turrets tracked so poorly, that we couldn't even GET a zero let alone a group. I would move the scope 2 clicks (Supposed to be 1/2 inch at 100 yards) and it would change the POI by 2-3 inches on both of the turrets, but even that wasn't consistent. For a long range scope that you are supposed to dial, that is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! Look at an Athlon or Vortex before one of these.
