Most Helpful Positive Review Hard to Beat for the Money
I’m really digging this scope at this price point. I ended mounting it with a Leupold 20 MOA rail and Mark IV rings. While I need to put it through the paces for long ranges, I took it hunting this past weekend. Low light performance is on point. Installed the sunshade that came in the box, and gla...

Most Helpful Negative Review Nikon Black FX1000 4-16x50 Very Disappointing!!
I bought this scope for my father to get him into long range shooting. With that being said, we mounted the scope on a 7mm and took it to the range to zero it. I have zeroed many scopes over my life and know how to do it. The Turrets tracked so poorly, that we couldn't even GET a zero let alone a ...

Nikon fx 1000 4x14x50 moa 1st focal plane

by Craig Larson, from WA, United States Written on December 20, 2020
I.m able to switch the elevation for 100, 250,350, 400, 450, & 500 yds back and forth ad infinitum without a hitch or glitch---thats good enough for my needs, I also like the reticle and how easy it is to refer to the Moa hash-marks if I don't want to or don't have time to use the turret

Excellent Scope

by Ecirp, from MI, United States Written on September 11, 2019
In my 50+ years of hunting this is by far the best scope I have ever owned. I really like the Mil reticle with the MRAD turrets! Makes the scope easy to adjust for windage and elevation. Glass is very clear, gathers a lot of light for low light conditions. The lighted reticle is awesome as it has an off position between each setting. The front focal plane work great! This is my go to scope. I now own 2 of the FX-1000 in 4-16 and 4 FX-1000's in 6-24. My favorite go to hunting rifles all have FX-1000's on them. At $200 off you especially can't go wrong!

Best glass I own

by Gravel, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on October 9, 2018
This is the best scope I have ever had and I am extremely impressed with it. So many features were well thought out that make it very useable. The glass is as good as any Leupold I have owned or used.

buy a better scope

by j, from NC, United States Written on September 28, 2018
soft clicks, blurry image. It's a meh quality scope. Only reason to buy it is for illumination, but buy someone else's. At this price point I expected a better image than my usual $300-$500 scopes.

Haven't mounted it or done tracking test yet, just out of the box, immediate regret. Only the 1/3 center of the image is in focus and clear/sharp.
Pros:
  • Illuminated reticle
Cons:
  • image quality
