This scope is now mounted on my M1A. The scope has an excellent clear, bright image and the scope readily brings into view a full image for quick target acquisition. The scope has a firm variable adjustment ring, but turns easily while shouldering the rifle if needed. Images remain very crisp and bright throughout the range of power settings. The scope was easy to zero in, and so far has held true after several rounds. With the factory pictany rail, there is virtually no room for adjustment of the scope,as the space allowed on the scope tube is taken up by the rings themselves when in place. With the existing rifle rail I guess I just got lucky getting a good position
Based on the good clear picture in this scope, I have ordered another Nikon scope model for my elk rifle. I think Nikon can keep me in good optics and I can still afford my house payment!
Pros: excellent, clear image
Cons: minimal room for adjusting scope when mounting
