Mounted on an AR10
Mounted this on a Sig 716 AR10. Fist scope I've mounted on a AR platform and it was very easy. Balance the scope once then move the one piece Nikon AR mount to adjust for eye relief. I've shot it out to 600 yards so far with no issues other than the eye relief at 16 power is a close for 7.62x51 reco...

Mount Came with a Stripped Nut
I have no idea how the scope works as I have not been able to mount it due to the mount that comes with it having a stripped nut. Still waiting for a replacement from Nikon. It has been several weeks and no word as to when I will get it.
That added to the fact that Optics Planet failed to inc...

Good scope
Good scope for the money. Mounted scope on an AR10. Bore sighted the scope to get on the paper and had to make minor adjustments at the range for zero. Scope is of high quality as is other Nikon scopes I own. With the rebate and discount coupon I had I couldn't beat the price. I would recommend this scope to anyone looking at buying a scope like this

8 Nikons and counting
Excellent scope. The glass is ultra clear. Collects an amazing amount of light. This makes 8 Nikons for me and I haven't been disappointed yet. Very easy to mount everything is included. Looks great on top of a custom build AR10!!!!!!

Nikon M-308 Rifle Scope
I am very happy with this scope. After bore sighting, it was a foot high at 100 yds. After 2 shots and 32 clicks down it was perfect at 100 yds. I moved it out to 300 and used the appropriate reticle dot and it was perfectly on. I have never used anything like the SpotOn web site before. Its fantastic. After considering many different scopes I am very very happy with my choice.
Pros:
- bright
- Large turretts
- 308 reticle
- SpotOn web site
Cons:
- None

My first Nikon and I'm impressed...only con is the bdc reticle only works at 50yrd increments if you use a 168 grain bullets with ballistic tip and boattail....best scope for AR platform in 308 in its price range

I have the same scope on 556 (M223) These are very very good scopes for the money. The optics are clear and precise. I have used Nikon for all of my scopes and have been very pleased. I really like the BDC on this scope . Once it is sighted at 100 yes, it is very accurate to 400 yds. Have not tested beyond that yet.
Pros:
- Price, performance
Cons:
- none noticed

M-308 BDC Scope
Great scope, very clear, instruction book is complete and very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone. It is easy to mount using the Nikon mount and really completes an AR-10 setup. It is great to use and the BDC feature makes it a must have for the tactical AR-10.

Value? Yes
We'll see how well it holds zero over zoom range.
Overall value: Excellent!
Pros: - Came with an ARD. Unexpected nice surprise. - Came with flip caps. - Came with awesome one-piece factory mount - A first for me. - Came with nice cleaning cloth. - Locking / free side focus knob. Sweet. - Solid turret zero locks. - Glass is pretty good. - Superb reticle.
Cons: - Tenebraex fiberglass ARD was very difficult to thread and because it's tapered, the scope cap doesn't fit: One might say use one or the other, but the cap protects the lens from contaminants. - Parallax and eye relief could be better. - Zoom could use slightly better ergonomics. - Wish it had an illuminated reticle model.
