Nikon 3-12x42 nikoplex reticle - Nikon Monarch 3 Rifle Scope 3-12x42

All my guns, but one, carry Nikon Monarch scopes. The one that doesn't uses a Nikon Prostaff. I purchased this one for my new Browning X-Bolt. I only use the Nikoplex reticle (I keep it simple and plain crosshairs is what I was raised on). I have found these scopes to be reliable, durable and hold their point.
Compare them to the Leupolds, etc. You'll find that they are better in some aspects or just as good. But you're not paying that extra $50-$100 for overrated name. I have Nikons in several different magnifications and all are outstanding in their performance. You surely know their reputation by their cameras, binoculars and spotting scopes. So why would you not check out their rifle scopes. They're just plain good and on the money.
