First time buyer - Nikon Monarch 3 4-16x42 Hunting Rifle Scope

I really liked the specs on this scope and when received I was impressed with the finish, optical clarity and the adjustments. The included scope covers were ok but certainly not the best quality - however they worked fine and saved having to purchase them.

I couldn't however get this scope to work on three different rifles. Using two different sets of rings I could never get the scope to align within the range of the scope height adjustment. I didn't have this issue with another brand scope.

Where I have to give high marks is to Optics Planet whose generous return policy made returning the scope extremely easy - actually the easiest return I have ever made. A+ to them!
