hypernez's Review of Nikon MONARCH 3000 STABILIZED Laser Rangefinder, 6x21mm
For medium range price, I didn't find a better value. Don't consider getting one without Stabilization. The 6 power helps when you are looking greater than 100 yards. I t also has a feature that allows you to select the object closest yo you or the one farther in the targeted field. It also measures actual distance or flight distance to the target, for calculating up or down angle shots. It is amazing how sensitive the rangefinder is especially when two targets are close together. I wish I could find is a case that will hang from your shoulder and allow you to use the rangefinder without taking it out of the case and it could use a tripod mount. It uses the specialized battery 123. They get expensive unless you buy 10 at a time. Other than those three items, I have found no other bad points. I am so glad I bought the stabilized in stead if the less expensive Standard Model.
Pros:
Stabilized, case included
Cons:
No tripod attachment point
Best Used for:
Hunting, target practice
Would Recommend:
Yes
