Nikon Monarch 8x32 ED SF Riflescope
I was reasonably sure this was a good buy,but I was overwhelmed when it arrived. This rifle scope exceeded my expectations by a wide margin.I highly recommend both the product and the seller! I am extremely disappointed with this Nikon scope.
TOO MANY COMPROMISES. It's useless to me. I sent it back for a refund. The internal adjustment will not allow zeroing my 6.5x47 Lapua at both 100 and 1,000 yards, even after optimizing with the Burris Signature rings and inserts. The true (measured) adjustment range of this scope is only +/- 8 MO...

8x32 monarch nikoplex
I cant recomend this scope. You'll need burris rings with inserts to get it to hit on paper. They range of adjustment is awful. There isnt enough range of adjustment.
Crank it it up past 24 power and her comes the blurr. Parlex adjustment is way off and not very effective past 200 yds.
Never again will I buy Nikon
Pros: Not many
Cons: everything

Ultra clear 1 inch tube, rivals 30mm tubes
I've been a handguner since I was 5 years old, however, now in my 40s, I have gone legally blind and can no longer shoot (focus on the front sight of) handguns. So, for the past few years I have been shooting long-guns, all with riflescopes. I have at least a dozen Nikon Monarch Riflescopes (6-24 and 8-32)... all of which perform incredibly well. The clarity and ability to shoot in low light situations is awesome in the Monarch series. I'll take a Nikon over Leupold any day!!!
Pros: Image quality, light gathering in low light, 1/8 MOA adjustments
Cons: The price, however compared to other similar scopes it's actually priced a tad lower then they are priced.

8479-DMO: Nikon Monarch 8-32x50ED SF Matte Rifle-Scope
I would like to comment on the 8-32 power monarch. First the eye releif is excellent. However it decreases dramitcally as the power goes up. The paralex adjustment seems to be a all or nothing. Most important you are very limited in your range of adjustment. I was unable to Zero in at 300 yards. Most important risk assessment will hold you up several days with your order. Optics planet will not bend the rules or push your order through untill you provide them with everything short of a blood sample. I'm going to try the Burris blackdiamond.
Pros: power
Cons: range of adjustment
