Nikon P-223 4-12x40
I have had this scope for over a year now with only one gripe. The scope is currently mounted on rock river 223 ar with a 20 inch barrel and is used for coyote hunting. The gun gets banged around and is by no means pampered in any way. The great thing about this scope is that after being dropped and scratched up a bit still works like it is new. As mentioned I only have one gripe with this scope and that is you cannot tighten down the scope turrets. I understand it is made to easily adjust, but sometimes they can move without knowing if the turret just moved or actually was adjusted, so you ha...

Nikon 223 scope
This is a awesome product and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great scope for a mini 14 or AR 15 platform I used the v-max 53 grain and works perfectly and with Nikons no falt warranty it is one one the best in the business by far

Fan of Nikon Scopes
I have been using Nikon scopes for years. I have a Prostaff on my Knight muzzelloader, a Rimfire on my Ruger 10/22 Varmint, and the P223 on my CMMG AR15. The P223 is my newest scope and I don't have anything negative to say about it. I really like the BDC reticle. It works great for those longer 100+ yard shots.

Love it, really like the BDC reticle. Mounted this on a HOWA 1500 223 bolt action. I can't miss 300 yards plus. Nice looking on my rifle, just the right size and weight. Great Nikon warranty on top of everything else.
Pros:
- Quality & Craftsmanship
- Warranty Policy
Cons:
- None for me

Very Pleased
I can not argue about the quality of this scope especially for the price. It works well with my AR 15 build. The glass is clear and the set up and use of the scope is simple. Nothing wrong with this purchase in my opinion. Yes there are higher quality scopes blah blah blah... For the money I would purchase again.

Great AR15 Scope
Great scope for 5.56 or 223 with BDC Bullet Drop Compensating with the Nikon Spot On App. The App is free through the Google Play Store. Nikons great warranty will have you shooting for years!! Will be recommendin this scope to all my friends that have this caliber! Works great with 55-Grain but with the Nikon Spot On App you can zero in and use just about any bullet and grain they make out there!
Pros:
- Bullet drop compensating
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- 5.56 or 223

At P223 4x12-40 600bdc
Great scope for the price, clear. I have it mounted to a Burris PEPR mount, works great, I've removed to to put a red dot on it, and switched back for longer distances. The reticle has worked out great to 300yrds so far, shooting about 1-1.5 groups on a ar15 Springfield saint, perfect for the money.

Great Value!
I decided to purchase this scope to put on my AR15. I had purchased another Nikon scope earlier this year for my .308 Ruger Precision Rifle which also came with the BDC reticle. I must say that this reticle and the associated Nikon 'Spot-On' app (downloaded to a smart phone) worked perfectly together to target anything that is in the range of the ammunition you are using. You tell the app what ammunition you are using and give it a few other conditions and it develops a series of distances for points on the reticle. If you know the distance to your target, and enter the proper info, you can't miss! (Well, maybe some will miss!) With my .308 I was able to consistently hit steel at 1100 yards! Have not used it on the AR very much yet but i'm looking forward to some time on the range real soon! I was told once that you scope should match the firearm,. Don't put $1000 worth of optics on a $600 gun!
Pros:
- well made
- good optics
- clear and precise reticle
Cons:
- not top of the line
Best Used for:
- Target and varmit shooting

For a stiff like me
This here scope is right nice. Looks nice and frosty on my gun and all the gals at the range give me all kinds of unwanted attention over it. But really folks I like it better than my 3rd wife. It's crisp, honest, and won't nag you about shooting too low or too soon ha amiright?!? Great purchase for the money and I plan on getting another one when my next gun comes in.

Nikon scopes rule
I have been replacing all my scopes with Nikon scopes. The clarity is superior. The accuracy at all ranges from 100 yards out to 600 yards is spot on. My latest Nikon scope is mounted on my wife's Sako 22-250. She just loves it now that she has better vision while shooting at dusk or dawn. More so than the previous scope. I would recommend Nikon for anyone that's serious about hunting.
