Nikon p300 scope - Nikon P-300 BLK 2-7X32 Rifle Scope w/ SuperSub Reticle

I read the pre-release reviews and my interest was piqued. This is a 300 AAC BLK scope for $200. They really pushed the Nikon Spot On software. Upon initial review the scope looked light it was of decent construction and quality. The glass however is very average and the BDC reticle supposedly custom made for 300 BLK is useless. Using common loads like Rem 115g or Rem 125g OTM all the distance subtensions on the reticles where totally non standard. You basically need to carry a book or buy the spot on software from Nikon for you iphone to use this POS BDC reticle. THis is basically a 22LR scope rebranded with a BDC reticle. If you are looking for something to meet basic needs this might be it. The glass is so average and at 1 inch tube light gathering makes this a very avg hog hunting scope. Save your $$$ and get an SWFA 1-6 illum. reticle scope for hog hunting which is what i bought.
