Most Helpful Positive Review Nikon 300 blk
Can't get much better than a scope made specifically for the rifle you shoot. Don't get it if you don't have a 300 blackout. The spot on website lets you dial in the measurements for the cartridge you are using. I wish the iPhone app was free because I'm just that cheap. It would be nice if it had ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Nikon p300 scope
I read the pre-release reviews and my interest was piqued. This is a 300 AAC BLK scope for $200. They really pushed the Nikon Spot On software. Upon initial review the scope looked light it was of decent construction and quality. The glass however is very average and the BDC reticle supposedly c...

Legacy got it wrong

by Ridge Runner, from WA, United States Written on April 25, 2018
This is a scope designed for 950 foot per second subsonic ammunition from a 300 blackout. It is NOT designed for lighter faster loads. Of course the BDC (Bullet Drop Compensator) reticle will be wildly inaccurate if you are shooting 110 grain 2400 fps loads. If you use the blackout for subsonic hunting this may be the right scope for you. If you switch between 220 grain subsonic loads and lighter faster loads this will be a frustration unless you make up a cheat sheet to let you know the ranges the marks are going to be representative of. I have a hard time understanding why anyone would buy a 300 aac blackout and run expensive for the performance light loads through it.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Not for flatter shooting supersonic ammunition
Best Used for:
  • 220 grain subsonic rounds or 9mm carbine

Great glass

by Chiefs51, from CA, United States Written on October 16, 2017
Super clear, light and the focus is great. This is my second “p” series scope. Haven’t taken it to the range yet, but, if it’s half as good as my 308, it’ll be great! I used the p series mounts, perfect set up on my 300 blackout.
Pros:
  • clear glass
Cons:
  • None

Nikon p-300

by Kevin, from GA, United States Written on May 12, 2017
The glass on this scope is very good and feels comfortable on my rifle. I like a lot. I used the p series mounts as well and that completes a smooth clean look on the gun. The adjustments are easy to use and the bdc is very helpful.

300 blk out scope

by Jake, from MI, United States Written on May 7, 2016
So far so good i havent had a chance to get it all zeroed in yet but it looks great seems very clear and mounted right up no problem. I used a one piece burris mount which fit the scope great, however you can't fit the red dot i have on the top of the scope with the rail caps that come with it because of the tall turrets.

Dark Dark & DARKER

by Mike, from MS, United States Written on November 12, 2015
This scope has terrible light transmission, could not see the deer at 60 yards thru the scope...
The scope is medium to low quality, hash marks are useless as there are 100 different loads for both subsonic and sonic rounds and point of impact changes with barrel lengths... Buyer beware!
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • low light transmission

Nikon P-300 BLK 2-7x32 Rifle Scope

by Rocky, from SC, United States Written on October 18, 2015
I mounted this scope on my 300 Blackout barrel. It took only 4 rounds to zero at 25 yds. I fired again at 100 yds and it was dead on. I climbed in my deer stand the next weekend, and shot a 4 point buck at 65 yds. The scope provides plenty of light just before dark, with a sharp clear image. The scope and rifle complement each other very well. I recommend it to everyone.
