Rapid battery drain when turned off - Nikon P-Tactical Spur 3 MOA Red Dot Sights

ordered this item first of september went through 20 dollars of batteries finding out what the problem was, which was the battery would drain rapidly when turned off. after about 4 hours being turned off battery would drain to a point it would not turn back on. called optic planet was slightly out side the 30 day window so they did not want to help out. so another 10 dollars to ship this item to nikon hopefully they will fix or replace it. so far this item has been unusable and cost me a extra 40 dollars.
