Bought my P-tac in May 2019 and it failed after five months. While shooting, the Diode/dot-projector (what to call it?) popped right out into the middle of the main housing. Of course, I sent it to Nikon for service.
No joy: Nikon has left the shooting optics market. So what? If your P-Tac dot breaks like mine did, Nikon will not repair it, instead, they'll send you a voucher good for products on the Nikon Sport Optics website. Sounds alright at first, but, problem: there no scopes or dots available on the Nikon Sport Optics website because, as mentioned, Nikon has left the shooting optics market.
