Nikon replaced my scope in 2015 as the bearing on height adjustment blow out. Sighted in this spring; checked out today and it totally floats. It will not take recoil of my 300 win mag. Have not even had it in the woods. I love the clarity but I'm out

Nikon PROSTAFF 3.5x14

Great clear glass for the price, looks sharp on my stainless 25-06. Arrived a few days early. Using the PROSTAFF app the mil dots are pretty accurate. Definitely enough for hunting purposes. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

Great scope

Sighted in very easily with a bore laser. Set to 150 yds with a Marlin 30/30 lever action. Make sure you get the medium height rings to clear the hammer unless you like using the hammer spur. Waiting to test it in the field. Watch for more information on this.

Just received product. Shipping was good well packaged. Scope looks great, glass is very clear. Have not mounted or tested yet. But arrived fast and appears to be good quality. I will try to write more after a day at range.

Great Scope

I have had Nikon scopes in the past and needed a new one for a SAKO A7 in 30.06. Bought this and a one-piece mount designed for the SAKO A7. Easy mounting and bore sighted with a laser. At 25 yrds it was only 2 clicks right and 6 clicks up. Now to put a few rounds down range. Would buy this again based on the features.

Nikon ProStaff 5 3.5-14X40

My second ProStaff 5 scope. Good clear glass, tracks well, the BDC reticle works great with Nikon's Spot-On program. I have both mounted on hard kicking smokeless muzzleloaders, one for two years with no problems.

Great scope. Super clear and takes a pounding from my 458.there warranty is second to non also. Definitely a good choice.i havw nikon scoes on all my rifles now. they're better than scopes twice the price.

Very good scope for it's class & price range

I bought this scope with the help of the CSR's at Optics Planet. To my surprize, this is a great scope for the money. The glass clarity is very comparable to my older Ziess that cost three times as this much. Only downside is that it is not made in the US. But in this price range you won't find any decent scopes made in the US with this power range and parallax adjustment. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to take it out to the range yet, but based on other reviews, it should hold up well.

A real Bargain

These scopes are a true bargain. The price point does not represent the clarity and brightness of the lenses. Exceptionally versatile. Before I realized it I had purchased four of these and I don’t regret it either.
