Good quality at lower zoom
Bought two nikon products in the past with good to great results. a 1992 15-45x60 zoom scope seemed to have a better focus sharpness at half the price back then... this model is nicely built, but sharpness at max zoom is lacking in my estimation. not a bad scope, but I wanted more for almost $600...

Nikon Prostaff 5
This scope has a very short eye relief. Your eye has to almost touch the lens. It is very shaky and difficult to focus.
Made of plastic and in China. Very dissapointed.
Nikon spotting scope
Great spotting scope. Nikon has very good optics. Easy to see the grouping at 300 yards. This is my first spotting scope and I could not have asked for a better scope. It meant all my expectations. I would rate the product a clear 5

Prostaff 5 20-60x80mm
Using it on balcony on beach. works well looking at boats on the horizon. In lowlight dusk/sunset works very well
Also bought the ProStaff 5 tripod. Adjustments for horizontal and vertical axes a little cumbersome, but have no real tripod experience to compare.
Pros: Good lowlight, focus and zoom work well
Cons: No issues noted
