I'm glad I bought these. They're very classy. Lightweight, fit in hand very ergonomically, fun to hold. Great for birds that are close, around 20 or 30 feet away. Super good visual detail at that range. Hard to say about further range. Pretty great for things about a short block away. Wish it were better for further than that. Only my 2nd binoculars owned.So hard to compare. Much nicer than the $100 zoom binoculars I had but returned. I think these are worth the money. You get what you pay for, as you say. I really am glad I bought them.

I liked these so much I bought my dad a pair. Nice clear glass for the money. I would recommend these to anyone on a budget and still looking for a great pair of binoculars. I got the camo and the black pair.

Great Binocular for the price. Bought these for my wife and she loves them. I have several sets of binoculars used for hunting and these are as clear as any I have purchased. Coupled with Nikon's outstanding warranty these are a bargain.

Excellent product for the price. I could have spent much more on a different brand but for the money these will do the job!The product arrived in a timely fashion and was delayed a bit due to the inventory. I was kept informed on the status of the order. Great Company to do business with.

They are awesome binosthey work very well in all lighting conditions very happy with them for the money have had lots of Nikon scopes and Binos never had one problems at all Nikon is a good product for the money.

I purchased one set for my son for a trip to Africa. Second set two years later are to be spares for myself. A little heavy and if came with a better strap I could of gone five, the shoulder versions are ten times better. Great clarity. Vendor is good just no express shipping. One week delivery now days is slow but sufficient for most.

I compared these to other name brand glass with similar specs and these came out on top in both quality and price. Crisp, clear and excellent focus. Only complaint I have is the caps. The objective lens caps aren't attached and the eyepiece cover isn't tight.

Overall I had a great experience with the people at Optics Planet, they offered me a better deal than was advertised and provided great service and follow through. On the other hand, the binos were advertised as Demos and the pair I received were refurbished. While I suppose it's not a big deal, I really wasn't expecting refurbished binos; the description should have mentioned this fact. Anyway, the binos look fantastic and seem to do the job; crisp, clear and focused. The one thing that seems to be a common thread with these, which is mentioned by other buyers, is the lens caps for the eye pieces that come with the binos are crappy. They wont stay on due to WAY TO BIG. The covers for the other end are not attached and have no means to attach to the binos, so when off they need to be in your pocket, or worse, they fall of and you don't know where they fell off at. I went to Amazon and got some nice cap that stay in place and have a means to attach to the binos. Overall, a nice pair of binos that are relativity light and easy to focus, plus they look good.

Nikon Quality and solid construction makes this seem like a much more expensive piece of gear. These come in a little heavy but that adds to the quality feel even if it also adds to the fatigue of carring then around. Great eye relief and crisp clear picture.
