I own 2 of these, bought 1 new got stuck w/another on a gun trade. I have a sako .270 win. I sight my scopes in 0 @ 100 yds, then check drop every 50 yds up to 500 yds. (this takes lots of time and ammo. The scope stayed adjusted until about 100 rounds then it could not be adjusted anymore. I was shooting @ a 1 in. square @25 & 100 yards for the intitial sight in and when I stated noticeing a problem. The second scope behaved same as the first. They just won't take the shock of lots of shooting. Then I called Nikon & a cust.svc rep who spoke broken english said I'd have to pay shipping both ways. that stinks for warrenty svc.
I have had much better scopes for about the same price. NO MORE NIKONS!Auto
Pros: Ok for limited use
Cons: Recticle hard to use, won't take much recoil shock, nikon cust. service
