Great quality Scope!!!!!!!!!!!
Great, great scope here folks! Put it on a Winchester slug gun with a set of Burris rings and it's a rock solid mount. Crystal clear view at every magnification, and a perfect eye relief on the shotgun. I did have a little trouble initially getting it on the paper, but after that first setup it's...

bad scope
this scope wont sight in. shooting from 50 yards with scope bore sighted ran out of elevation and still 20 inches below bullseye on the target.
Pros: good optics
Cons: hard to sight in

Takes the guess work out of long shots
The product appears as described. The directions for sighting in are easily understood. Fits nicely on my H&R 20 gauge ultra slugger. Still trying to find the perfect slug for this gun/scope combination.
Pros: BDC, directions for sighting in, well built
Cons: Reticle is small and fine. Could be hard to see in low light.

Nikon Slug Hunter for semi-auto 308
This 3-9x40 Nikon Slug-hunter sits atop a bullpup 308. I wanted a very durable scope, and believed that this scope, which was meant to be used with a slug-slinging shotgun, would be durable enough. So far there have been no issues, and I do not anticipate any. The glass is very clear, sharp image, and the BDC is easy to use; although it will be specific to your firearm/caliber combination. The price seems high for a 3-9, but if it is durable enough to outlive a hard-kicking firearm, then it is money well-spent.
I do recommend this scope.
Pros: durability, clarity
Cons: possibly price

Nikon 3-9x40 BDC scope
This is my first Nikon Skope, I have 2 Kayles on centerfire rifles, so I expect good performance. the price and product was as advertised by OpticsPlanet.
Pros: Being able to change range and holover with power ring is new experience, constant eye releif a plus. Neat!
Cons: nothing detrimental , looks great on gun
