We bought this Nikon primarily for theater/opera use + some outdoor activity. Stabilizer work good, difference is noticeable, especially during in low light condition i.e. concert hall. This Nikon is reasonably light and small, safe to say - palm size, even for a woman. Conclusion - I am glad I have it.
Pros:
Relatively light and small
Cons:
Almost $600
