Sunshade 40mm
Excellent fit and finish. Matches finish on buckmaster 3-9x40. Adds just under 4” to the end of scope. Stock scope cap will fit the 40mm side, if you trim the tiny nubs from the inside of cap. Threads on smooth and looks great.
Nikon scope shade cover
Awesome product. It keeps the glare out of your scope. If you are shooting in the rising or setting sun you will need this product. Well made, simple design and durable. The only con I have for it is that I wish the Nikon lettering was placed so when tightened on was level with scope. Great product.

nikon 40mm sunshade
fits '' but '' does not fit flush , gap around the seem works but does not look good .. I can live with it but for the price $ 50 its not worth it ... if you want a good looking one or a value for the high price ... my $5 sunshade for a cheap b.s.a. scope fits PERFECT ..so buyer beware ..

Nikon 40mm Sunshade
I bought this sunshade for a Nikon rimfire II scope, and it sits on top of a Ruger 10/22 rifle with a 16.5 inch barrel. It mounts up perfectly to my optic. It looks really good on the scope, and it minimizes the glare just like it is supposed to. If you like the look of having a really long optic this is perfect for you.

40 MM sunshade
The shade does screw in as described for the M223 Nikon rifle scopes it was just a little cosmetic issue with that that COULD BE BETTER. IN THAT THERE IS A GAP LEFT BETWEEN THE SCOPE AND SUN SHADE. but THE SHADE WILL WORK AS DESCRIBED AND WHY i WOULD Recommend THEM TO OTHERS TOO.

Great Product
Installation is very easy. Fits perfectly with the Nikon P223 40mm Riflescope and looks very cool. It greatly improves the light gathering properties of the scope. Excellent for long range shooting. Not for 3 Gun, Not for CQB use, Not for short range shooting (75 yards and less).

Construction Project Manager (Retired)
This new replacement sunshade does fit my existing 40mm Nikon scope, but not as well as the original sunshade that came with the scope. The scope I have is an older model Buckmaster 6x24x40. The old sunshade fit the scope tube diameter perfectly, whereas this new one has a different tube diameter, although it does screw onto the objective lens 40mm threads for a solid mechanical lock, so I can use it in the field. Before I ordered the replacement sunshade I checked with Nilkon to make sure it would fit my older scope, although it had a different part number.

- Is not a match for the existing scope contour or diameter
