Most Helpful Positive Review Nikon Trailblazer ATB 8x25 P/N 8217
Bought this for hunting and they are the right size, power and wide field of view for glassing. It would be nice if they came in camo like my Nikon rangefinder and made a package deal. Camo belt cases for them would be very appealing also. Pros: compact, light, sharp image, wide field of view Cons: ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Something's got to give
This pair of binoculars has nice, coated optics that give great images. It's waterproof and small enough to fit in a pocket, and it's cheap - much cheaper than other binoculars giving a similarly crisp and pretty image. So where's the catch? Getting a focus out of these binoculars is like pulling...

Compact Optics

by Theo, Verified Owner from LA, United States Written on April 1, 2017
These are great little pocket binos that for their size, present a very nice and clear FOV. Images are sharp and colors natural. Best of all, they are fogproof and waterproof, perfect for unexpected outdoor excursion opportunities. Hinges, focus and eye cups function well and they come with a snugged fitting nylon cordora case. Overall, they make perfect glove compartment optics, ready to go!
Pros:
  • light
  • well made
  • Waterproof
  • Clear
  • fogproof
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Quick Glassing Excursions

Nikon Trailblazer 8x25 Binoculars

by Godfather, from BC, Canada Written on April 9, 2015
Very clear image. Great field of view and the close focus on these pair are 4.75 feet
even though the specs say 8 feet. Wow what a bonus. I wonder if anyone else noticed a
better close focus as well. These compliment my 8x42 Celestron Granite well as they
are compact. Great for sports events. Oh and the diopter is stiff so it basically locks
into place.
Pros:
  • field of view
  • Close focus
  • Compactness
  • clearity
Cons:
  • None

Nikon Trailblazer 8x25

They are fine for what they are. Reasonably economical. Good for birds and closeup sporting events. Adequate for the beach and boating. The strap provided is very cheaply made. Almost lost them whe the strap just let go. Suggest buying one that is better quality for safe and secure viewing.
Pros:
  • Light weight - Economical -
Cons:
  • None

if you are looking for a real compact binocular with huge FOV without compromising the FOG/WATER PROOF ( like some other models ) get this one.

it's difficult to fine a binocular with such size, weight and FOV all together with weather proofing, top specifications like roof prisms, nitrogen filled with this low price.
must to say that i didn't notice that you must adjust the diopter adjustment over almost its entire range of motion when going from a nearby focus to infinity
very affordable as for price, Fog & Water proof plus O ring sealed, very nice FOV, very compact.
only one : if Nikon made the diopter adjustment like the old classical way instead of adjusting the two eye pieces..

Pros: very offordabel as for price, Fog&Water proof plus O ring sealed, very nice FOV, very compact
Cons: only one : if Nikon made the diopter adjustment like the old classical way instead of adjusting the two eye piesce.
