Nikon quality
I bought this scope knowing that Nikon had never let me down. And once again they provided a great scope. I zero'd it at 100 yds and had no problem stepping out to 600 yds so far. The glass is crystal clear.

nothing new
Dandy looking scope, but as usual Nikon can't make a product where the turret marks line up top to bottom..take a look at their product photos and the problem is obvious. This scope looks like previous models dressed up for Sat nite...
Blk1000 junk
Junk and Nikon will not stand behind it.DO NOT BUY. Put this on a Savage 300wsm.would not zero. Sent to Nikon they will not fix or replace. Gave me a voucher to spend at their online store only good for 24 hrs. Called them and they not making scopes anymore. So if you buy one of these you are taking a HUGE risk of losing your money!

NIKON BLACK X 1000
UP TO WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM NIKON . EASILY UP TO THE STANDARD YOU WOULD EXPECT IN A HIGH-END RIFLE SCOPE . I HAVE ONE ON MY NEW WINCHESTER MODEL 70 , MY SON HAS ONE ON HIS NEW BROWNING , AND MY GRANDSON HAS ONE ON HIS RUGER PRECISON RIFLE .
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTION ABOUT WHETHER I WOULD RECCOMEND IT TO A FRIEND , THE ANSWER IS YES .

Blk1000 junk
Bought this scope for my 300WSM. Will not hold zero. Was after 30 days before I got it mounted and tried to sight so had to send to Nikon for repair. 3 months and still do not have it back. Bought because I have several other Nikon. Optics I was happy with. DON'T BUY!!

Great scope
This is my second X1000 and these are great scopes hard to beat for the money. Great glass, solid turrets, and very user friendly. Highly recommend for the shooter who can’t yet afford the $1000+ scope of their dreams.

Nikon Black x1000 4-16x50mm
Typical Nikon, a lot of scope for the money. Clear image, accurate, repeatable adjustments. All at around $500? What more can you ask for? The tacticool crowd would probably want it in FFP but for a long range hunting scope or a Precision rifle scope I prefer the SFP that it offers.
Pros:
- Excellent value
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Hunting, Precision Shooting Sports

Awesome Scope.
I put this optics on my long range 223. The scope is clear, bright in low light, and I got the best from Optisc Planet. Be cause of the demand for this optic, it did take 1 1/2 months to get, but worth the wait.
Pros:
- Clear, and bright
Cons:
- No sun shade with the optics
Best Used for:
- long range shooting

Compare to Leupold LRP
As the title says, was comparing this to Leupold LRP. After looking at both in local stores, I felt the Nikon had the edge, not only is it less money, but felt the glass in both were equally as clear. So with a nearly $400 price advantage, I went with the Nikon.

Nikon black x 1000
I own two of these now and they work fine. So far the tracking is perfect, which is the most thing in a tactical scope for me. No complaints from me. It's not a Schmidt & bender but for the price point it's a good scope
Pros:
- good value
Cons:
- none so far
Would recommend: Yes

Solid scope for the money
This scope is a a little bigger and beefier than I expected. The dials are nice and tight and adjustments seem precise. The scope covers are junk, but the covers that come with scopes aren't usually very good anyway. Scope came with a sunshade which is nice. Glass is pretty clear. Only went to the range with it twice so far, but I really like the scope for the price point.
