A well made tactical flashlight
As well made and functional as a Fenix PD35 Tac. Small size makes it comfortable to carry in your pocket or the available belt case. Powerful light source makes it suitable for a lot of varous uses (tactical, outdoors, etc...). Build quality is up there with the top brands.

Never buy ANY Nitecore!
I have purchased 3 flashlights and all have developed problems. Nitecore customer service is 100% worthless! They find a reason to force you to deal with the Chinese manufacture for any kind of warranty help. Pick a nitecore competitor and but their products!
Okay as a kids toy but overpriced Chinese junk
I have bought three Nitecore flashlights at a cost of $45 or more. Two P12s and a newer one. All three have given me issues. Now they tell you to return the flashlight to China for repair. I also have several $8 made in China flashlights that still work. Nitecore is okay as a kids toy, but it's not worth the extra money and I would never stake my life on it. Done with Nitecore.

If you don't have at least one, get one!
By all means I recommend this light to anyone wanting a very powerful pocket flashlight. It also would be nice to have in the glove box of a car since there are various brightness selections, including the SOS selection. The two buttons are easy to use, even with gloves on. I have one of mine set on strobe when it comes on since it is by my bed to use if anything goes "bump" in the night. A 1,000 lumen strobe will did-orient anyone long enough for you to take aim if necessary.
